This interdisciplinary pedagogy workshop will feature lessons and techniques by experienced faculty leaders from across the region. Panelists include: Virginia Hartman, Administrative Support; Camille D. G. Mustachio, English; Preston Simms, English; Melissa Stange, Computer Science; and Eric Vanover, History. Learn how to promote student success in face-to-face, hybrid, and online courses; engage students with experiential learning and flipped classrooms; and pique student interest using open educational resources (OER). Attendees are encouraged to share their experiences with student engagement struggles and successes and will be recharged by session discussions and takeaways. The workshop is co-sponsored by the Center for Faculty Development (Café) at LFCC and the Northern Virginia Regional Center for Teaching Excellence.
